EKO OPEN LAGOS

Lagos tennis in its own season: three days on one court at the Lagos Lawn Tennis Club.

Plan your visit

The Eko Open begins in December 2026 as a three day Men's Singles tournament at the Lagos Lawn Tennis Club in Onikan. Eight players, seven matches, every one of them on in front of 2,506 people.

The idea is simple. Give players a tournament worth peaking for, put it somewhere the city can actually reach, and run the big matches under the floodlights so the heat does not decide the tennis.

The first edition is built to be watched in full. Every match is scored live by an operator on court and published here as it happens, every ticket is a numbered seat chosen on the map, and the final is framed by an opening ceremony and a trophy ceremony on court.
